Our Founders
Overwhelmed by the flood of anecdotal and unverified parenting advice, Manjunath and Oshin felt the need for better solutions for new parents. They immersed themselves in research and consulted child development experts, psychologists and educators to understand the fundamentals of holistic development of children. They say there are no guides to parenting but this is as close as it gets – backed by science, psychology and decades of research. With Sitaara, they want every parent to understand their child better and create memories minus the guilt and anxieties.

A Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Child Psychotherapist, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She leads Family Tree, a child mental health team in New Delhi and has taught at Ambedkar University. Author of Love & Rage (2017), she also co-founded The Art of Sport along with her husband, empowering girls through sports and therapy.

She holds a Master’s in Education from Stanford University, a Bachelor’s degree from Singapore Management University, and a Doctorate in Education from King’s College, London. She is currently enrolled in the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
